With these plans you’ll enjoy the security of Original Medicare, plus additional coverage and valuable added benefits, all for an affordable or even $0 monthly premium in most areas.

How is medicare Advantage different from Original Medicare?

Peace of Mind

Medicare Advantage plans come with a limit on out-of-pocket costs for covered services, which helps to make it easier to budget your healthcare expenses more effectively.

Once you reach the limit, your plan pays the remaining covered expenses. From that point medical expenses are limited, which may mean fewer surprises.

More Coverage

Unlike Original Medicare, most of these plans cover additional important health needs.

  • Vision
These plans often cover annual routine vision exam and may include a yearly allowance toward glasses or contacts, and a frame allowance for 12-24 months.
  • Dental
Many plans include coverage for the routine dental care, such as cleanings, and exams. Some plans even include comprehensive dental procedures
  • Personal Assistance
Some plans offer programs that help to coordinate exams, answer care-related questions, discuss health changes, and help you live more independently at home.
  • Hearing Aids
Some plans include coverage for hearing aid devices, audiologist visits and ongoing fittings and exams, depending on the plan you choose.
  • Prescription Drugs
Most plans include built in coverage for your prescriptions for one plan premium.

Frequently asked questions about Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage plans are designed with your convenience in mind.

All-in-one plans – Unlike your other options, Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug plans combine all your coverage in one, so you’ll only have to worry about managing a single plan.

Virtually no claims to file – Generally, Medicare Advantage plans pay your doctors and hospitals directly so there is virtually no paperwork for you.

A single plan ID card - Your Medicare Advantage card is the only card you'll need to show at time of care.

Private insurance companies are able to offer zero-premium Medicare Advantage plans, in part, because Medicare Advantage plans usually enter into contracts with a network of doctors and hospitals. That means you may have to pay more money out of pocket if you see a doctor outside the plan's network. if a particular Medicare Advantage plan ends p spending less than the flat fee it gets from the government, it can pass the savings on to members.

That may mean offering plans with a montly plan premium of $0 or providing additional benefits, such as dental, vision and/or prescription coverage.

We know how important it is to be able to see the doctors and specialists you trust. Finding the right Medicare plan may not mean you have to switch doctors, pay more, or give up flexibility. Medicare Advantage plans include network options that may help you keep the relationships you value while meeting your unique needs.
